Mary E. Lowd is a science-fiction writer in Eugene, Oregon. She's had more than thirty short stories published by various magazines and anthologies, and her first novel, "Otters In Space," was picked up by a small press after a year and half of being self-published. Her fiction has been nominated five times for Ursa Major Awards and has won a Cóyotl Award. She's a member of SFWA, the Furry Writers' Guild, and a co-moderator of the Wordos. She lives with her husband, daughter, five cats, and three dogs.

This was a super sweet, light weight read with fun aliens and a love story twist. I wish there were more stories like this!
