Description

Darkness threatens to consume Israel. High Priest Eli allows corruption to infect even the Tabernacle, the holiest place in the land. Hordes of Philistines ravage the countryside, led by a merciless warlord and bolstered by the might of a race of giants. As battle rages between Israel and their enemies, the key to their survival waits, ignorant of his destiny. A child. A seer. A Prophet of Israel.

This book is not the Bible so do not get caught up that it is. What we have is a well researched book that brings to life a store that helps us realize People in the Bible where real people. The store on it's own is a joy to read. I think if you take the chance you will enjoy this read -

Pretentious. Though author must have done serious research on the subject, it seemed to me that he missed the real tenets of the Bible.
