Marcus Lanier is a sixteen year navy veteran who has been all over the world. He is searching for the right woman to settle down. After a divorce from a cheating wife and fatal attraction relationship Marcus is in search of the one that will bring him joy. That is until he reunites with Sidney Thompson.
Sidney Thompson, who has recently moved back to Cleveland, because of a big job promotion, has had her share of drama as well. She fell head over heels in love with jazz musician Alex Sanchez, only to wind up with a baby and a broken heart. After her relationship with Alex, who she thought was her Mr. Right, she never thought she could love again. That is, until she received a call from Marcus.
