The year is 2170. Mars has been colonised for the past 50 years, Phobos has been turned into a penal settlement. Earth has been reorganised into five states and England is now an integral part of the U.S.E (United States of Europe) and a leading light in the ESA (European Space Agency).Major Jonathon Harrison reluctantly accepts the captaincy of the Explorer vessel Apollo the first of its kind.
Its first mission is to Earth's furthest space station L7, three times as far out as Mars but that is all the information he is given.
And while en route he is plagued by troubles of the worst kind, terrorism. Someone seriously does not want Apollo to reach L7 and is willing to die trying to stop it and Jonathon has no idea why, nor does he know in whom to trust.
