But John doesn’t change. He is immune. One in a billion. But the camp fears what they don’t understand and they come as one to dispatch him. John is captured and locked in a room with a zombie. He meets a doctor who is trying to put an end to the plague with disastrous results. Against his will, John is given genetically modified zombie blood, making him something more than human, making him something more violent than a human, making him...RAGE.

A thinking, calculating, change-at-will...monstrosity; whose only goal is to find his wife, Sally. And look out anyone standing in his way.
