When Sarah tries to introduce the townspeople to the bird, they become frightened and chase it away. Sarah and the big bird, become upset with each other, but when Sarah gets lost, Its up too her friend to find her. Appropriate for children between the ages of 2-7, this story teaches how misunderstanding can put our friendships in danger, and how things do not have to be frightening just because they are different.
