I’m Christopher Blankley,
I write science fiction and mystery novels for both adults and young readers.
That’s me, over there.
Now you know.
I live in Seattle, which serves as a backdrop for most of my work. I was born in the United Kingdom, but moved to the Pacific Northwest as a child. My two children, Ruby and Jack, star in my young reader series, The Bobbies of Bailiwick. My wife is in none of my books. She’s probably happy about that.
I’m currently working on a novella about vampires and Neo-Conservatives. They have more in common than you might think. I’m also working on a novel about locative computer games and a cataclysmic earthquake in the Northwest. They have more in common than you might think, too.

I really enjoyed the adventures of Beanie (the narrator), Flaky, and Mitty in this book. Once you accept the alternate history (global overheating discovered in the 1930s, some different affects of WWII, establishment of Corporatist State in the US), the plot follows logically. You really begin to care about these guys as the try to stick their fingers into the eye of the Concession in an alternative (and depressing) 1972.
