About Rebecca Sorens

From Little Rock, Arkansas, land of gentlemen and ladies with soft-spoken accents, to a cozy little frontier town in Oregon. To get here I traveled to San Francisco to put some flowers in my hair, met the Jesus gurus, then traipsed around overseas teaching English.

After getting over my disappointment of the departure of Angel from Alice, I was able to appreciate how the author led me into Alice's emotions. Because of the author's  artistic/poetic style, I was able to feel this story clip. The words can paint a vivid picture if you let them. This unique style of plunging into back stories and then returning to the story line is used in cinema these days and is more of how the human mind thinks. I look forward to reading  more clips!

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and they are so excited about something they are rambling on and a bit incoherently at that? The Meeting is like that. The writing is all over the place - carries you to the middle of a point and then suddenly, and in an untimely manner, abandons that point to jump to a new one. The author has much to say but is doing it all too quickly and not at all fluidly.

This can be a good book if the authors opts to revise it and give it the appropriate attention needed.
