About Jason Brown

Born in southern California, Jason Brown became a traveller sometime after university ended and adulthood began. That led him first on some cross-country trips starting in LA and through a good portion of the United States and Canada and things really took often in the summer of 2001 upon his first trip to Europe. In the past decade, he has travelled to nearly 50 countries and spent nearly a thousand days somewhere else.

He has written 5 novels, Using Toonies being his second. His fifth novel, The Newropean, is expected to be published later this year. A new travelogue entitled The Couchsurfing Stories, chronicling the adventures of couchsurfing in over 30 countries and 60 cities, is expected to be finished next year.

He also does photo exhibition, motivational seminars and teaches English to pay for his adventures.
