A game of hide and seek gone wrong - what a brilliant short story!!! While I would love to hear what happened to the boy during his absence, it is also nice how it is left to the imagination. Now I am off to check out some of this author`s other words of literary art.

This short story rocks! Characters are well drawn and the plot takes readers to the world of boys and summer vacation across generations.
The ending is perfect.
Keep them coming!

An entertaining story with a surprising ending! (And a pretty funny one too, in a macabre sort of way.) I enjoyed reading it.
