About the Authors:
Scott D. Lauer, DO, FACOOG, is a licensed physician in three states and has been board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002. He is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. He is also President and CEO of SonaBrae Health and Wellness, a company dedicated to health and wellness issues related to pregnancy and women’s concerns. Dr. Lauer holds a patent for a stretch mark prevention and restoration cream. He has delivered thousands of babies and counseled with even more expectant parents.
R. M. Elliott is the pseudonym used by the husband-and-wife writing team of Roy and Marlo Wood. They have published one other book, The Twin. Roy is a former stand-up comedian; Marlo is working toward her master’s degree in psychology, and is there to remind Roy he isn’t so funny.
