This self-published collection of stories is lighthearted, good-natured, and just a tad on the nonsensical side. Though most of the tales are meant to be funny, sometimes the timing wasn't quite right. For me, they failed more often than not, but that's not to say it wouldn't strike a chord with you.

The tales center around an elf village of some nondescript location. We get to see some recurring characters throughout the collection, that the author does take advantage of to introduce some character development. The author also provides endnotes for each story, which were quite interesting from a writer's perspective.

I recommend this book if you are in the mood for some quick, odd elfish stories. The author cautions against reading the stories to children. However, I thought that would be the perfect audience.
