Enjoyable Segway Novel. The second in the series follows Erin as she learns to live as a vampire. Going from extreme fear of them in the first story to becoming very deadly as one in the second. Erin contemplates what life is as one of her fears. She also decides revenge is her best foot forwards as she looks for the vampire Christopher who she thinks killed her best friend but comes to find out it was an even older vampire names Alexander. Follow Erin into battle as she tried to come to terms with her new life. Nice way to spend and afternoon on the sun.

I am so glad that I won this book from LibraryThing. This book was such an emotional journey with Erin. She has to deal with being a new vampire and that all she thought she knew about Edmond was a lie. Not only does she realize that she watched so many innocent vampires sentenced to death but she let Edmond's psychotic sisters loose. Erin wants revenge on all the vampires that stole her memories and her life.
