Rated 5.00/5 based on 3 reviews
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage -- but Hannah's doing it in the wrong order.

Hannah has a secret. She’s given up her dream of a traditional family and gone to a sperm bank. She’s thrilled to be pregnant, but she doesn’t want her handsome new boss Luke asking too many questions.

Baby Comes First is a quirky, sweet romance.

About Beverly Farr

Beverly Farr has been writing books since the second grade when she declared herself an author. She lives in Texas with her tall, dark, and handsome husband, three children and a grumpy cat.

“Happily-ever-after is my drug of choice. Not that I won’t read or watch a sad story (now and then), but I crave happy endings. I love Jane Austen, Cinderella stories, and 1930s screwball comedies. (Think An AFFAIR TO REMEMBER or WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING). Since real life has a way of being tough enough, I write sweet, quirky contemporary romances to take the edge off.

What you will find in my stories:

1. Sweet quirky romance.

2. Very little swearing. There may be an occasional hell or damn, maybe even a b*tch, but there will be no Lord’s name in vain and no f-bombs.

3. No explicit sex scenes. Characters might discuss sex, but any love scenes are off screen (Think AFRICAN QUEEN).

4. No vampires. At least, not yet.”

Lovely book. Spunky lady — supposedly secretary-eating boss. Great dialogues! The hero & heroine seem so real, if you know what I mean. Interesting twist to the story at more than one point. All in all, a fun read, truly enjoyable, quick paced and never a boring moment. I can only recommend it. Beverly Farr presented it on a blog I follow. I wanted to buy it in print, but it's not out in print! So I took her up on her offer to read it for free. Thank you, Beverly!

I was given an Advanced Reader Copy of "Baby Comes First".  A quick romantic contemporary read; once I picked it up I just couldn't put it down. I expected it to be predictable but it surprised me and was a prefect most enjoyable escape.
