This book really captured my attention from the beginning to the end. I loved the characters and felt very connected to them. I’ve always been a fan of mythological creatures, and this book definitely had a new twist on some of the lore. I fully enjoyed it!

The book starts off with a girl named, Sara, who is going on a cruise as a dare. Everyone tells her that she’s “boring”, so she takes the dare and heads out on the ocean. In the midst of her trip a storm rises and she gets tossed overboard. Thinking she’s going to drown Sara eventually blacks out. She wakes up on an island with a pile of food beside her. Sara soon discovers that she’s not the only one on the island.

I really loved the sweet love story that wraps you up in its little finger. I love how the simple life of the island melts the heart of this girl with the heart of a mythological man. It was a very clean book, and I liked that since it seems like most romances are full of garbage now. Darian had my heart as well.
