Short description

Strange, very, very strange – in fact you could say that these short stories are really quite desolate in nature; a macabre element to them, yes, but all with dark, underlying humour. Each is preceded by an accompanying poem.

Extended description

1. The Moon doesn't Shine.

Little Joseph's older self stuck a huge big needle into his brain at 5-yrs-old, a serum providing him with remarkable gifts. But as he gets older and nastier, his abilities are simply not enough. Tired of being restricted to travelling only to the past, he'll stop at nothing to get to the future - but he's not the only one fast forwarding; the moon departing the solar system in his wake at an alarming rate bringing about the end of the world... and redemption, as he struggles to reverse all the damage he's caused. Or... was it him?

2. A Gastronomic Disaster. (Read more)

Unusual stories and poems, each as different as you could hope to find, with full detailed characterization, setting and humor, as well as the inevitable twist ending. An excellent read for most any season, and a collection you will return to many times, for these stories will linger in your mind; and pull you irresistibly back, over and over; for reading when the moon sets at a jaunty angle and you have the urge for something just a tad on the unusual side this is the book to read.
