Frank Goodsen struggles to keep his wife and daughter alive in a dying world. Hidden away in the Rockie Mountains, he carves a thin living out of a dry and poisoned land. That is, until he encounters a pair of refugees from Chicago. Hardeep Singh and his daughter are fleeing the city and their appearance will turn Frank’s life upside down.

But that’s nothing compared to what it will be like when Frank and Hardeep discover just what is destroying the Earth.
