Dan - thank you for producing the bible of book development from beginning to end. I followed each step of the way and produced a fine book. You saved me a great deal of time and effort and for the work you did here, I am truly grateful.

Hello from beautiful Montana,
I have heard Dan speak many times, and yet I always learn something new. I could not find my original book and so when I heard him say Smashwords and on sale, I jumped on it.
This is a terrific site and great bargain on excellent information. I will be back. Not only to buy, but to list my own info-products.
Thanks Dan, for your helpful tips and techniques.

The Self-Publishing manual is much more than a manual. I found it to be a truly step by step guide to self-publishing. It's particularly thorough providing helpful references as to where to find even further information.

I had already Vol.2, which I found very useful. Although Vol. 1 was not as up to date it was definitely worth the time and money.

This was an invaluable resource for self-publishing, and tremendously simplified what had become a long and muddled journey.
I first read it in print at the local library, and found I needed to refer to it so often, I just downloaded to my notebook that I use for writing. It was fabulous for toggling back and forth between the work, the reference, and the recommended internet resources.

Not just about self-publishing, this is an eye-opening overview of the publishing industry. It's a good place to start for anyone interested in learning the business.
Geared mainly for the non-fiction writer, it also holds many useful gems to dispel the fantasy that we fiction writers too often carry into our first attempts at publishing.
Highly recommended.
