"Gone!" was a book I found I couldn't put down. It's a great companion to "Getting Even" I also read and recommended to my friends. It's the perfect book to take along on a long flight or vacation.

The story has many little side stories that weave in and out and a great surprise ending. The author writes with such attention to detail and descriptions, I found myself in the story itself as a bystander.

Highly recommended along with Featherstone's Getting Even!

"Gone!" is a very enjoyable read, end-to-end. There was not a slow spot anywhere as Stuart Featherstone takes the reader from one adventure to another. Featherstone is a pilot and it shows in the authenticity of his stories. He manages to thread a lot of pilot lingo into the book, immersing the reader into the pilot world, without alienating a layperson like me. The story also includes a number of relationships, all of which the reader cares about because of the attention Featherstone pays to developing the characters. He ends the story with a surprising twist that puts a ribbon on the whole experience.
