I tried to read this as I'm always interested in anything to do with "Lost Books or the Bible" or alternative accounts of the history of Christianity. However, I just couldn't find a hook to keep me turning the pages. I tried researching the People of the Way and the author hoping to discover something to renew interest in the book and found nothing.

This is an amazing book. Even as just history I loved what I read here. History fascinates me and reading about these people and the persecution they went through by the established church was real to me. I've read a lot of church history already and I know this stuff is true.
The differences between this book and the New Testament was worth reading too. I think I like what's in here better.

A friend told me about this book, but he was laughing at it. We are both Christians and believe in the Bible completely. I took a look at The Book of Chains and started really reading the first few books in it, which are different and not in the Bible anywhere. I read and read these passages over again and somehow I knew this was all true. It sounded more real than anything I have ever heard in church, and I've been going to church since I was born. I'd like to talk to these People of the Way or at least Andrew McAllister, who edited this book.

I found this book so very interesting. It revealed to me a mystery to me I had seen on the History channel. I will not say more on that, since I will give away secrets. If you are interested in the Lost Books of the Bible, You will love this. It so easy to understand the prophesy the way it is written here. This book easily explains what it measns to be Christian, and what Jesus came here to do, and how he will return. I feel after reading it that know more about Jesus and his love.

I look forward to hearing more about this sect in the future, and about these documents being authenticated.
