on April 06, 2012 :
The Author of Arcadian, Doug McCoy, delivers a wonderful book for those of us that were lucky enough to remember the lure of the video arcades of our youth.
McCoy tackles 19 of arcade classics from his own youth, taking a stroll down memory lane regarding his first encounter with the game and style of game play, much like he did with his book for the NES entitled ANESthetized.
The only complaint I can offer is that after reading the book I sadly could not go visit an arcade and plunk my quarter for a round of Pac-Man or Dig-Dug!
