Short description
What do you do when the one person you trust in a city full of strangers betrays you? You go home! That’s exactly what Rose Marie Langston-Hughes did. She packed up her little red Honda Accord and headed down South. Signing divorce papers was easy compared to what she was to face in Whistle Creek, Alabama. Emotions she’d thought was left behind will resurface right across the Mason/Dixon Line.
Welcome to Whistle Creek, Alabama. As you journey through the town you’ll meet the Langstons, the Monroes, the Gillilands, and the McWrights—just a few of our folk.
Rose Langston is a journalist/author who travels back to her small home town to find a new life away from the Big Apple following her divorce from Lance. She’s been hurt, betrayed, and belittled but nothing can prepare her for what she’s about to discover when she enters the gates of the L & M Ranch.
Her high school sweetheart never left her mind, even though she continued to work at a marriage she never wanted. And when she returns, all the emotions she thought she’d forgotten begin to flood her mind as the creek runs to the ocean. Rose discovers there is such a thing as going back home and love that was meant to be.
Tyler Monroe left Whistle Creek when Rose’s dad threatened his reputation the night of his daughter’s graduation. But money issues arise with Todd, Rose’s brother, when he inherits the L &.. (Read more)

Tyler Monroe left Whistle Creek when Rose’s dad threatened his reputation the night of his daughter’s graduation. But money issues arise with Todd, Rose’s brother, when he inherits the L & M Ranch following their parents’ tragic death, and Tyler returns to his roots to help out the brother he never had but always wanted.
Join Rose, and all her friends and family as they stroll—and sometimes run—through the crazy thing we call life. Living in a small town can have its ups and downs, but in the end, the Hillside Lady's Circle realizes family, friends, and the bonds that tie them together as one; are all they need to make it.
The Whistle Creek Series is full of home town pride, celebrations, heart aches, and joyous triumph. Cast your worries into the creek and watch them wash away with the current. This series will leave you laughing, crying, hoping, and rejoicing as you read Rose’s story of life in a small town.
