Beryl Cahoon writes from the solitude of her home in a small Alaskan community, where most of the time rain beats against the side of her home or snow breaks her concentration as it slides from the roof. Over the past fifty years she has written hundreds of stories for her own enjoyment. Beryl never considered publishing until she shared Finding Dwain with friends who encouraged her to share the story with others.
Beryl is making retirement plans. A new home is under construction in a forested area in Western Washington. She'll have a writing room with a large window that will allow her to pause as she's formulating a thought, and watch birds at her feeder, chipmunks and squirrels running about and an occasional deer nibbling on her berry bushes.
