This is a must read book for anyone whose ever dreamed of life on the road. Well written, easy to read, not condescending and amazing in its imagery.
Indies are NEVER written this well, nor are the edited well, either. I highly recommend this book for a variety of reasons but, IMHO, the most important one is the inspiration the author brings to the table. If he can overcome being over run by a truck AND total blindness, well, I guess the rest of us have nothing to whine about, do we?
Much like Jack Kerouac's Life on the Road, Monkey On The Wing should become a book on everyone's book shelf, to be read again and again.

This is a fascinating journey into the life of an amazing individual. The chapters are short so a great book for reading here and there, however I found it to be a real page turner so ended up reading the whole thing in 2 days.
I enjoyed all the carefree adventure in the first half of the book, however the book takes on a gripping new dimension in the second half when Steve battles with the implications of his accident.
I found this book to be moving and inspirational, and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in life!
