I stumbled across the Morcyth Saga and ripped through it like a Texas prairie-fire in the middle of a drought with a 30 mph wind. There was no firebreak, so the fire kept consuming the story of James and Jiron in the "Travail of the Dark Mage" series' "Light in the Barren Lands". Only problem is that its been years since it was published, and I'm still hanging around waiting for the second book of the Travail series. Brian, please finish the saga!

I've read the whole series and I loved all the books and couldn't put down my e-reader, it came with me everywhere. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author. Keep up the good work.

In three week i have finished all the books available and loved it all. I have heard a good author makes it to where you feel like you are there with the character. That is true with these stories.

A good "tug of war" on James feelings about the home he left behind - an excellent read as usual.
