Book two is awesome! Loved it even more than book one, and would not have thought that possible. Book two starts right off with action and picks up where book one left off, after the battle against wizards an gigantic spiders. I was left breathless at the end of book one, and found myself holding my breath and heart pounding within the first couple of chapters of book two. I can't say enough about this series. I hope they make this into a move, soon! I was actually lost in the story, feeling that I was right there with Amanda, Thian, Tia, Tianna and of course, little Sadie. I had read on the authors blog about how Glenn came up with the story, how he writes and how his characters sometimes, simply walk into the scene, like little Sadie did, when he had no previous knowledge of them. Glenn and Sasha are very creative, and I'll be reading every novel they produce. According to their blog and what I've read on Twitter, they have several other novels in the works. Can't wait. If you've read book one, you have got to read this book two. Wow!

Book one was outstanding. I wondered if book two could top the first book. WOW, did it ever! I've read book one three times and am on my second read of book two. I absolutely LOVE this series and cannot wait for book three. There is so much going on in this series. I know there is much more to Amanda than we know at this point, and I love little Sadie! What great characters and story line. If you have not picked up your copy of book two yet, do it now. If you have not read book one yet, get it first, since this is a continuing story and you will be lost without book one. Very well done!

I just left a review for book one while finishing this book two.

Does book two deserve all the five stars? YES! If they had a ten star rating, it would get that as well.

I'm stunned that one of the authors, Glenn, has dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, and has never written before!

For someone who has never written a book, I'd say he and his wife Sasha have done an outstanding job!

If you think book one was great, wait till you read book two! Tons of action and you will have many of your questions from book one answered.

You have got to get book two. Five Stars hands down.

Can't wait for book three!!

OMG. This is by far the best series I've ever read.

Actually, I love it as much as I did the Harry Potter series and that's no joke.

This is a true FIVE STAR series.

Book two answers many of the questions raised in book one, and, we find out how Amanda was able to do all the things she did, and why she had so many adventures on the mountain.

You won't believe what happens in this book!!!

All I can say is, don't miss this series!

Can't wait for book three.

Five Stars!

Excellent work. You really have a lot of talent and shouldn't be selling projects this good for free. It is amazing and the characters really click. I love supernatural and witchcraft novels and this one was on the money. Top job.

The second book in the Amanda Ackers series picks up right where the first left you hanging, which is a good thing. Amanda now has a gaggle of new friends and enters into a new and equally exciting series of adventures. Much backstory is provided on some of the items she found in her earlier travels which introduces a more epic storyline involving many more characters and their histories. I am excitedly looking forward to the third book of the series.

This was a great book! I loved the 1st one & was so excited when this one came out. It picks up exactly where the 1st one left off. I love that all of Amanda’s friends are together, even little Sadie! Once everyone went to Bellinora (and the ghost image of her mother) I loved learning how Amanda made it through all of her adventures in the 1st book, like the lizards, giant snakes, and the red mist. It also revealed how an innocent, pure child was able to wear the necklace, and become the Wielder of Power.

I’m so curious as to where this book is headed, because the authors did a great job of dropping clues thought the entire time Bellinora and her mother spoke with Amanda and even Thian. I suspect there is a background that we’re not aware of. While Amanda is from Earth, is she truly just a human? And if so, was she perhaps “made” human by Bellinora, or even her mother.Their, especially Bellinora’s, emotions were so heightened when talking with Amanda that I just can’t help but wonder what was going on behind the scenes. Amanda has no idea who her mother or father are, so there is a chance that her entire background will be completely different than we ever imagined. Or perhaps, there was a prophecy that Bellinora knows of and it involves Thian and Amanda.

I’m so curious as what the next book holds!!! I don’t remember if the book mentioned it, or I just thought about it while reading, but since the Wielder of Power has always been evil, it makes sense that many of the trapped souls would be “good” souls and might be able to help Amanda learn how to control herself and her actions, and use the necklace for good rather than evil.
Anyway, it’s a must read. The authors did a great job with the first book, and this one was even better!

Awesome! I love the Amanda Ackers series. I am a stay at home mom and read a lot! I loved the Harry Potter series, but I'm hooked on Amanda and her friends in this series now. I loved the first book of the series, once I got used to all the italics, understanding that is simply the writing style of the High Elves. But this book is truly awesome. Not only are there great adventures, but we learn why Amanda was able to do all the amazing things she had in book one. I'm getting the impression that there is a great deal more to Amanda than we know at this point. I rarely get so involved with the characters in a story, but, I feel very close to Amanda and her friends. They have become so real to me, I feel I actually know them. Loved this book and have recommended the series to dozens of friends.

Book Two is great! Took me two days to read and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Wow, do they ever go through some adventures! Their falling into the Bone Pit with all the creepy crawlies... Yuck!

The battle in Arcoma Village when they first arrive there.

The "test" Amanda went through with the Great Witch Bellinora, and the Face in the green vapor.

The adventure in Shadow Alley. And of course, the huge fight scene at the end with those hideous, giant... well, I won't spoil it and just say "creatures."

Wow just doesn't seem to come close. I really liked book one, but this one, simply outstanding! Can’t wait to see how book three starts, with the ending of this one so intense! And no, I do not know the authors personally, but very much love their work.

More than worth waiting for! I got a Google Alert that a new work was published by these authors and was thrilled to see that it was book two of the Amanda Ackers series. I have only read the first few chapters, but the chapter "The Bone Pit" freaked me out! The terror Amanda and her friends go through almost immediately, had my heart racing and gave me chills… all those creepy crawlers, bones and skulls all over them. And all the bugs… EW! I LOVED IT! I just had to post a review now, and will review again once finished. Wow! This book rocks! You’ve got to read this series if you haven't already. I would recommend this series to anyone, and have!

Oh my god! This book is so exciting in places, I was actually scared! Like another reviewer, I also, after reading book one of the series, wrote and asked if I could get an early copy. WOW! This book really is even better than book one. Amanda, Thian, Tianna, Tia, little Sadie and even some new friends, have many battles where Amanda is controlled by the evil spirits within the Necklace Of Power. Bellinora, the great witch, is stunned that a child is the Wielder of Power, but does not know how to control the power which can destroy all the good in all the realms of all the known universes. This series would make a fantastic movie! Simply an outstanding story. I’m hooked on Amanda and her friends.

Outstanding! This is even better than Book One! I was one who was fortunate enough to have received an advance copy. I do not know the authors, just emailed and asked if I could get an early copy. In this new book, we find out how Amanda was able to do all the amazing things she did back on the earth realm, when she fought the frilled lizards, the huge flying lizards, the giant porcupine parrot flying creatures, and the gigantic snakes. Why she was driven up the mountain and could not find her way down, and was forced off the cliff. Amanda and her friends encounter many fierce battles with witches, wizards and terrifying creatures. If you have not read Book One yet, you need to start with that one, because this is a continuation of where Book One left off. This is a have to read book!
