The story is engaging. It portraits a lovely young woman with enough strenght to keep her head high when her neighbors treat her as pariah. She is facing too much at once and really need someone to help her. Her help will come with someone that doesn't believe himself capable of being a hero for anyone.
The characters are interesting and their emotions and conflicts provoke empathy while reading.
I enjoyed it very much.
