Short description

Sometimes we tend to forget that people older than us have lived basically the same lives as us. They have loved, was loved, had the trial and tribulations of children, they have lived in a different era and could be a fountain of information, yet we tend to look for our history in books. This is Flash Fiction.

Extended description

Some of us are lucky enough to have our parents with us for much, much longer than other people might, yet we manage to push them aside.

Have no care for the superficial mistakes, with the dates and such, which really has nothing to do with the story! This story was sad and makes you feel guilty for the way you treat your older family members, it's very relatable though. Truely sad. Great job! Great book!

I didn't get beyond the first paragraph which is riddled with historical inaccuracies. If you are going to write about history, get it right! Born in the fourth decade of the twenty-first century? That makes it 2040, not 1940. Okay, simple error. You mean 1940 but then you say you lived through the rise and fall of the Nazi party. The Nazi's started their rise in 1920... I couldn't be bothered reading more with such simple errors so rampant.
