About Joseph Mc closkey

A management post in the construction industry is not the most likely place to find inspiration to write.
I travel as often as my budget allows and from the sights and sounds I encounter I weave my stories.

The author is a friend of mine since early school days and was alawys good at his essays. Therefore I expected a decent read when I started his book, what I found was something much more - an inventive, history telling, can't wait to get to the end, page turning rollercoaster through the fields of France and the last ninety years with an imaginative intermingle of past and present.

Just finished reading this book. I happen to know the author - a bit of a dark horse - as I never realised that he had such a great talent as a writer. I read the book over a week-end - literally found it hard to put it down. An amazing story as it twists and turns its way and keeps you wide awake anxious to see where it is all leading to. I thoroughly recommend it. Simply a brilliant read.
