We were made with a void in our hearts that always makes us disappointed after achieving what we sweat for. It is this void that leads us to self chastisement, to self denial, to religion, to frenzied search of wealth, to drugs, to alcohol, to empty sex orgies and sometimes to suicide. Who you think you are defines the meaning of every thing around you and every circumstance. And it is what you think is the purpose of your life here on earth that drives you and that influences your daily decisions. We normally look for happiness in the wrong places and it is in our quest to do so that we end up accepting everything that seems to give us a ray of hope only to get disappointed afterwards. Fast forward to the law of attraction. Having come in the name of The Great Secret, these teachings have been accepted as good teachings even by the once thought committed Christians. Only a few of them have detected the cultic message in them. For this reason, I have tried to relate this so called Great Secret to Christian teachings.
