I am working my way through all of Ali's books, this being the 7th one I have read. While they were all entertaining, this one shows the growth of the author has made.
This book was very enjoyable, and kept me glued to it until I had finished. The interactions between the characters felt more real and relaxed, unlike a few of her earlier books where I felt they were too stiff to flow like a good dialog should. This book also had far less editing mistakes than her earlier book, and the ones I did find were inconsequential and in no way distracted from the story.
The characters were all well developed and extremely likeable especially Tawanda, the cat.
The story ended on a happy note with the hopes of a sequel or two in the future.
Do yourself a favor and read this one, then try Terminal Event, another fantastic read by Ali.
