Haunted Moon
A Moon Coven Series Novella
I hadn’t read anything from the Moon Coven Series, but this novella was a great introduction which shows Leeny coming of age into her witchcraft heritage. Very descriptive and well written, this is the perfect glimpse into the series.
I received an e-copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading Haunted Moon: A Moon Coven Series Novella by K. B. Miller. I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading the first page. I knew it was going to be a short read and I was really hoping that it would keep me wanting to read more about her Moon Coven Series. I’m rather happy to say that Haunted Moon accomplished just that; it was a satisfying novella that made me want to read the other books in K. B. Miller’s Moon Coven Series.
I thought that Lilyann was an interesting character who had to come into her own by accepting and embracing her destiny. There was just enough storyline to pull the reader into K. B. Miller’s story and keep reading to find out how Lilyann was going to deal with what she witnessed with her mother and how she is going to have to essentially do what her mother did – which was to kill vampires.
I definitely want to read more books in K. B. Miller’s Moon Coven Series. Haunted Moon was an enjoyable novella which showcases the author’s writing talent and gives the reader a satisfying short story.

I totally love this novella.
I didn't want to stop reading it, which is always a sign of an excellent book, and even better an excellent author.
I first of all loved the dialect that was used.
While I, of course, have never experienced the supernatural events of this book in person, I have experienced the real life struggles that Leeny goes goes.
I so felt for Leeny while she was going through both her family struggles, and her magical struggles. Being the eldest daughter, it has to be tough when
Colly truly does not understand what she is going through, until seeing it herself. I have to say, this was an intriguing story and I wish it was a full
book instead of just a novella. We have all seen the stories of the good and bad vamps, but a great spin on who is actually battling them. Also great to
see who is protecting who, and as usual why some people are so afraid of witches.
Most of all this is such a great story because, we see a child become a full grown adult when she realizes that everything happening has a reason, and what
her destiny in it all really means. Tight knit families are hard to find in our lives, so it was so nice to see that it does still exist, even if we have to
read about it in a story to keep it alive somewhere.
Great Job K.B. Miller, you did an excellent job on this novella and I can't wait to read more of your books.

This novella is GREATNESS!! I enjoyed reading it from beginning to end, &I was left wanting more more more! =D Leeny & Colleen remind me of my girls in many stages of the story. Seeing the very realness of their duties to protect & what that entailed through young Leeny's eyes was a great idea! A VERY GOOD READ! And...Off I go to purchase Compulsion (the first full length novel in the Moon Coven series). =*} Thanks for getting me hooked! :)

I love the cover on this short story companion to the Moon Coven Series by the author. And I really loved that it could be a stand alone book since I have not yet read the first book, Compulsion. The author brilliantly weaves a tale that leaves you wanting more. I loved reading about the characters and can't wait for the re-release of Compulsion to be able to continue following them! I recommend this book to everyone who likes a good witch story :)

This is the beginning of a truly good story to Compulsion. This is Leeny’s story and her beginning of becoming a Moon witch and her acceptance of her gift. Ms. Burks-Miller has a wonderful way of telling her story.
