From the name of the book to the last page of the book it was bearing suspense and it was all a mystery unfolded in a sensible way.’ I have no words to express how I felt while I was reading the book. It was like watching a mystery movie or a drama or should I say that I was right there watching Rainey, Sara, Joanah and even the Killer? It looked all real and the way the author has written the book shows that she knows a lot about the field work…an expert on this subject. The name Rainey walker really suits for a detective agent. I didn’t want to put that away at least for few seconds. My eyes were glued. Every chapter gave me a thirst to read more. Every chapter began with excitement and gave hope for thrill and excitement for a new chapter. I was mesmerized for the way she has smoothly explained about the Islamic believing and had given the idea that Muslims are not aliens but another community. Overall the book was really good and worth a read.
I recommend this book not only for Muslim readers but for everybody. A book which contains suspense, thriller, mystery, feelings, love and proves that a there’s no need of seductive scenes to be included to keep readers glued into pages. The ending made my heart throb and throat ache yet it’s agreeable. After all life is not a fairy tale…and curiously waiting to finish reading the second book of this. Catch me if you dare…simply awesome!

I was so happy to finally get my hands on this book. It is quite the read. It swept me right up into the whirlwind of interdepartmental red tape in the heat of a serial murder case. And it is refreshing to read a cop thriller story with Muslims in it and they are not the villains! It makes for an interesting peek into the somewhat sequestered world of a local Islamic community. I love the characters and that murder is quite the piece of work. And thanks for the direct writing style that lets the reader imagine the surroundings for them selves and best of all, no need to skim over romance scenes--there are none! Simply refreshing! I went right from this book to the next in the series, Gotcha! I cannot wait for the next instalment!

L.D. Alan, author of "Catch Me If You Dare" shows expertise not only in the social aspects of Muslims in the American community, but in themes and topics that only those with inside lines to law enforcement can possibly have.

A beautifully and carefully crafted interweave of Islamic values compounded with the openness of the western non-Muslim way of life, and balanced out by professional portrayal of the criminal mind as the mental steps are taken in the journey of the development of the crime, L.D. Alan keeps the reader avidly turning the page one after the other, always seeking for the solution or final culmination of the story.

The end of "Catch Me If You Dare" leaves the reader appalled by the sudden turn of events, with a finalizing culmination which answers all the questions raised throughout the buildup from page 1, yet craftily leaves the reader hungrily hanging in wait for the continuation of the sequel promised to come.

A mystery of caliber equal to even the best on the mainstream bestseller lists, yet free of explicit love scenes, obscene language and gory horror details to the extent that you would not be wary to have your ten-year old read, while entertainingly suspenseful enough and down-to-earth real characterization enough to hold the attention of even the most savvy of adult readers.

Murder, mystery and Muslims seem an unlikely combination. Nothing is as it appears in this murder mystery story told with a refreshing voice. Moving a bit slowly in the beginning, the author engagingly draws the reader into a web of lies and organizational politics as the story unfolds. Why are Muslim women being targeted? Who could the serial killer be? What does the FBI agent with links to the Muslim community have to do to help solve this crime?

With information from the case files detailed throughout and moving between the killer’s thoughts to the law enforcement’s plans, the story unfolds not unlike a crime investigation drama on television.

Betrayal, hidden agendas and suspicion surface throughout the book adding to the suspense. The unexpected ending leaves the reader eager to read what happens in the next installment of this thrilling series.

‘Catch Me If You Dare’..............a well-written, captivating, page turner. The very knowledgeable author did a good job of showing the internal politics that goes on within the Major Law Enforcement Offices all the while keeping the suspense and story alive. A very good start to an interesting successful series.
