My dad Ernest Cawby II went with his family to PBI in Mississippi while I waited for him to come home I fell into a open flame heater, he lifted me and ran to chapel and they began to pray and God intervened 5 days later no sign of any injury on my skin God is good all the time I was taught at a early age to trust God.
I have been in the ministry for a number of years serving as pastor and associate pastor in a number of locations in the United Pentecostal Church. I gleaned a great deal of knowledge under his leadership for twenty years as his associate pastor. I continued to serve a total of approximately four years as an associate pastor at Brentwood United Pentecostal Church under the direction on Rev. Jimmy Mitchell who proved to be a great mentor and shepherd for my family and me. I was also under the leadership of Rev. Brian Kinsey, Rev. D. L Welch, Rev. Paul Welch, Rev. Robert Glass, all of Pensacola Florida, as well as Rev. Joe Lane of Montgomery Alabama. These men poured the word of God into my life and made me what I am today and I am so thankful for the time I spent under their ministry. After heading the call of God on my life to move into another role in my ministry, I returned to Century United Pentecostal Church.
I am aware that this ministry was poured into me and gives this knowledge because of time spent with this caliber of men. I can never thank these and many others, who prayed with me, loved me, cared for me, taught me, and preached to me.
I give to you what these men have given me in my life and it is a joy to be involved in God’s ministry. It is a great thing to serve the all living God especially in this day and time.
There are some saints that meant a lot as I was coming up such as dear saint that would kneel next to me and say I have been praying for you, God is going to use you. You can’t buy that kind of love and devotion such as one saint showers into another.
