Way Beyond Infinity is Vol.3 of the Galactic Rescue Series. This Series is becoming endless; as the adventurers continue to go ever-outwards. Carl, one of the pair of space explorers, is out by himself during the early part of this novel. He experiences alien races not really to his liking - initially - and finds his life in jeopardy many times. After many adventures Carl realises that he needs his fellow crew mate, Pat, to be with him.
The pace of their experiences continues at a hectic rate. Some problems require drastic measures and they are not squeamish about making severe decisions of Galactic size.
At a particular stage of their exploits they decide that they need a holiday - sun, sea, sand, and fishing.
But That's a different story.
