Due to numerous factors in today’s world the typical brain has been “modified” into a zombie-ish, hyper-reactive yet oddly sluggish command central run amuck that dictates weird quirks; runs people into the ground with depression; compels people to binge on food, alcohol, tobacco, prescription, OTC, and recreational drugs; and ultimately collapses with neurological disease.

As brains across America became unhealthy, we’ve seen an alarming explosion of pharmaceuticals to “treat” these brain disorders, including addictions, in patients from infancy to old age. Great book. I have quit smoking. I also realized that you can use this information for other areas of your life as well. I highly recommend this book.
