loved this story I hope to read many more from this author. I was intrigued by the intertwining of the Greek and Voodoo pantheons I have never read a story that done that before.

In all of my years of reading (and that's a lot of years), I've never read a book that blended myth and reality with such brilliance and originality as Bayou Myth.
Bayou Myth contains everything you're looking for in a book: drawing suspense, thriller, mind-disturbing horror, deep dark occult, pacey action, domestic humor, education, appropriate touch of romance, and then some; all in the right amount. The romance part really got to me as well as the other sections of the fusion.
Loesche is a cheerful giver of characteristics to the book's personas, letting the characters develop and pulling you right along.
Bayou Myth is an exquisite work of art. Yes! I said ART because only a work of art can be as beautifully designed as this book. What will keep me from reading Loesche's books, I pray our paths never cross. I can happily say I'm privileged to've read Bayou Myth. Who wants to touch me?!
Bayou Myth is totally deserving of my fifth star (I'm always usually stingy with it).
Keep up the good work.

This is a intriguing tale of a teenage girl in Louisiana who is learning to be herself the hard way. Unlike most teenagers, she is a voodoo princess which makes things a bit more complicated. It includes mystery, voodoo, romance, action. The story keeps you guessing and in the end- I just want more! I hope Ms. Loesch continues the story of this new type of heroine.
