Extended description

So you picked up an Motorola Xoom, and after playing around with it for a couple of days, you have realized that unless you use Netflix, playing movies and TV shows on it is a bit of a hassle.

Your Netflix subscription work great, however, either they don’t have the shows you want to watch, or you have to pay for them, and worst of all, it is mainly streaming video, so watching movies on a bus/plane is a pain.

You likely have a nice collection of DVDs already, but so-called Digital Copies you get with some of them either do not work, or are streaming-only as well. Movies purchased/rented through Apple iTunes also don’t work, so how can you maximize the use of your Xoom for movies and TV shows?

This guide will show you how you can put your own movies (DVD, AVI, MKV etc) onto your Xoom so that you can watch them when- and where-ever you want to, without an internet connection.
