Was a well written short story, never loosing its quick erotic feel during the read. The characters Chad and Chase felt real, and their relationship building genuine too.

I normally don't complain about an author's selection of character names but the "Chad" and "Chase" combo really made the read rather hard and distracting. I found myself having to re-read a sentence or paragraph to rediscover who was "talking". Trivial I know, but worth mentioning in my book.

Excellent short story. Would love to see a long version of it. The character development was great and the story gave me wood. Look forward to reading more from Brenda Cothern!

Quite a likeable story, although I also found it confusing having similar character names. Good for a freebie!!

We're introduced to Chase as a soldier then as a cowboy, which to me was inconsistent. That and the characters having similar names and all the 'head hopping' had me re-reading the introduction trying to keep things straight, but once the 'bow-chika-bow-bow' starts, and it's about 50% 'bow-chicka-bow-bow', it just doesn't matter anymore. I'd give it 3/5 stars, not gonna diss it, probably not going to fervently recommend it, but if you're looking for some 'bow-chicka-bow-bow', hey, it's free!
