on Nov. 17, 2012 :
In The Christian Olympics: Going for the Gold Crowns, S.E. Gregg compares the Christian race to the Olympic Games. As a former personal trainer, I had an increased interest in this book.
Gregg makes connections between the athletes competing in the Olympics with our Christian walk and the importance of competing for the prize. As a believer that prayer is to the spirit what exercise is to the body, I resonated with Gregg’s way of helping Christians see themselves as players in the Ultimate Olympic game.
Gregg teaches spiritual lessons and offers practical advice in a challenging way with chapters such as The Training and Discipline, The Workout and The Closing and Rewards Ceremonies.
An interesting read!
