She has to meet her fiancée’s family and that will just be one of the challenges she will face. She returns home to find a new criminal enterprise has come to Mountain County.

The Sheriff in neighboring River County is either inept or corrupt and Millie thinks it is the latter. She suspects he is sheltering the person behind the criminal enterprise that is moving into her county. Every law-abiding citizen in River County fears their Sheriff and there has been no one brave enough to challenge him in an election. Millie finds an unlikely candidate whom she must mentor if she is to help unseat the Sheriff of River County and uncover the mystery of who was pulling his strings and running the criminal enterprise.
