Extended description

This story brings the reader to a single life-threatening event in a small, young pygmy marmosets life. The setting is in his natural habitat within an acacia tree in South America. Cuarto is smaller than most pygmy marmosets. He is respectful of the leaders in his family by not wandering too far from the group, and he routinely grooms their hair. One night a dangerous enemy caught Cuarto and his family by surprise. His father was able to hide his family but not himself. Instead of hiding from this sizable enemy, Cuarto makes a decision to save his father without any regard for his own small size. He demonstrates how his wit was more than enough in time of adversity. The result of the outcome gave him a new-founded respect by his family and a prestigious role that he hadn't expected, that of a leader. Cuarto's story will remind a reader that the mind can create a solution to any problem. Size should never matter. Heart-warming tale to be read to ages 6-8.

This book is a wonderful story that is both interesting to children because of the main character (a young marmoset) but also it's built adventure. The writer has done an incredible job of weaving important values and a life lesson into the story line. An easy read for chidren with both excitement and education. I would definitely recommend this book as well as the three other books by the same author.
