Denise Zen has been having dreams, seeing visions, instilling in her a sense of impending dread more than wonder.

Her senses and gifts will prove to be right as usual, when she is contacted by a member of Rome’s Ninth Legion who, along with five fellow legionnaires, and the beings from another world who abducted them nearly 2000 years earlier, arrive to ask her assistance in finding Coventina. More

I enjoyed the book and the continuation of the Denisezen character. A lot of wish fulfilment going on, lottery winnings, elimination of horrible people, and a lot of Starbucks and McDonalds.

I completely enjoyed Coventina. Denise, Layla, the Legionnaires, Coventina, Lucilla and Aja, are delightfully charming, affirmational and down to earth(I’m laughing here) at the same time. They’re like people I encounter every day. I relate to their perspectives on dealing with each other in a genuine, personal manner, their ability to see value in surrendering to life, with its imperfect situational harmony, while avoiding the trap of selling out to cynical, material greed. The Cartel of exploitive, avaricious manipulators was, on the other hand, in a chilling way, all too real. The dichotomy between these two groups of people represents the struggle we are in, globally, today. I'm not a fan of fantasy, but was immediately caught up the story, because it projects a concrete sense of the complex world we are in & the imperfect nature of options we have, to preserve and evolve our identity and place in the cosmos.

Excellent book. Believable scumbags. Loved the legionnaires. Surprisingly accurate factually. Another wild fast paced adventure for Denise Zen and Layla Martinne.

I've found an author to watch for new work for sure.

Well, Jamie Antonia has done it again.

As in DeniseZen, this story starts out in Makanda Illinois, and takes Denise and Layla on an wild and horrific trek across much of Western Europe and parts of America, and all for love.

This is quite simply a magnificently executed love story that spans 2000 years in a fortnight.

There was so much to take in reading this amazing tale I shall dive right back into it, and do so gladly, for a second read.

A wonderful, believable, exciting, action packed crazy ride again, and all for love.

Treat yourself and pick up a copy.

Bravissimo.

Their successful rescue triggers a revenge retalation buy the Rome based western european syndicate. It now is a fight to the finish. Can Denise and Layla's love, humor and a steady supply of latte's and pizza win the day? Have fun, read on as the battle ensues.
