An interesting short story set in historic Alexandria. The author captures the interest in higher learning and the divercity of people that would have been living in Alexandria quite well. Surprisingly it turns into a mystery and although some of the dialogue would not have been spoken in this time period (little too modern) it does add some whimsy to both the characters and helps to lighten the intensity of the story. Overall I really enjoyed it!
