Anti Sentient is not just another zombie story. It is a compelling tale of characters, their stories and their lives that unfold all in the midst of The City of Angels under attack. The author created the characters that seem like people you know, which draws you even further into the story.
Transformations told from the characters' perspective was a very nice touch. Also, the cause of the zombies coming into existence is actually very alarming because with everything going in the pharma big business FDA murkiness of today, it's not impossible. Finally, the richness of detail in the gruesome zombie depictions really made me shudder. Before I give too much away, it is a fun read and I give it two thumbs up.
