Short description

Mitchel Creek is an average guy with a wife, a young daughter, and a simple life. Until he awakens aboard a spacecraft 400 years in the future, alone... except for the dead body stuffed in a crate. To find answers to why he's suddenly where and when he finds himself, and a way back home, he's forced to team up with radicals and pirates, and a woman who forces him to question everything he knows.

Extended description

When Mitchel Creek, mid-western I.T. guy, woke up, he expected to be home in Iowa with his wife and daughter -- not on a ship hurtling through space, centuries in the future, and with a dead body.

Mitchel's adventure to find out how he got there, and how to get back home, brings him together with pirates and anarchists in a greater fight against a fascist government that seeks to control the worlds humans have colonized since leaving Earth. He meets a dangerous and compelling woman who takes him on a path of self-discovery.

It also brings him face-to-face with a threat even greater than an inter-planetary government.

"Singularity Deferred" is a science fiction adventure that uses elements of hard SF to create a dramatic story with mystery, action, political intrigue, romance, and a touch of humor.

Well, heres another book I read from start to finish, without stopping. While it has the fast paced action of a space opera, the premise of being thrust 400 years into the future adds the element of what if. How would you react, what would you do. It allows you inside the story, allows to to easily become part of the story. Want a personal adventure 400 years in the future? Read it, you will no be disapointed.
