Really short paranormal romance, which was written well enough to be enjoyed. Didn't blow me out of the water, but was very entertaining for it's short length. Unfortunately, with a story so short it's a really big challenge to build enough character development to really engage me. I found that somewhat lacking, and constantly had this feeling like I was missing so much potential storyline it made me want to scream. These characters need more page time. They were great, and the plot itself could be greatly expanded on.
The relationship between Damon and Juliet was established way too quickly (though understandable in this short format) and her acceptance into her situation too unbelievable due to the same issue. I would suggest undertaking a true novella size, as I would consider this a short story, to be able to really dive in and enjoy the full potential of the story between Damon & Juliet.
