Set in Central Australia around Oodnadatta (South Australia), this is a cops and robbers story with many a twist. A tale of an orphan who grows up to be a brilliant tracker and utilises his skills to assist the police to catch a murderer after an enthralling chase across the Simpson Desert.
The author describes the bush with a passion that paints a vivid picture. Recommend to anyone who enjoys books about Australia, in particular the outback.
