Extended description

The year is 1867, and mad science has made the Wild West even wilder. Sky pirates haunt the western territories, savage prehistoric beasts have been set loose to roam the grasslands, and the science-enhanced Experimentals are hunted by the government that made them.

Eden Kane is a shy girl working a dead-end job as a clerk with the Smithsonian's Department of Hazardous Artifacts. Unable to explain that her brilliant Experimental mind makes her uniquely qualified for the task, she is rudely refused a position on a dangerous assignment to reclaim the sky pirates' secret Dark Aetheric Transmitter.

She mounts her own expedition, freeing Zenobia Santiago, ex-bandit and Experimental tiger-woman, to guide her through a West full of criminals, rogue Experimentals, and dinosaurs, and into the secret lair of the Sky Pirates of the Rio Grande.

A secret war is brewing in the West. Hunted by desperados and government agents alike, Eden and Zenobia may be the only two people who can stop it.

Wow...what more could one want from a book then hot sex, pulse pounding adventure, engaging characters, villains and heroes with swashbuckling panache, a low low price, *and* it's well written? Why can't more erotica be like this? While most authors seem content to charge you 2.99 for little more than flash fiction (by that I mean short short stories of less that 6k words), Paul Batteiger serves up a full size, hell, plus-sized novel for the same price. I can't wait to read more novels from Adventurotica line.

Super fun steampunk book! Plenty of sex, action, memorable characters, and plain fun reading. I really enjoy this book a lot. The world itself is so neat and I'd love to explore it for sure. I super highly recommend this book!

I wasn't too sure about this, not being much of a fan of pirate stories, but having enjoyed other books by the same authors I went ahead and bought it anyway. Simply put, this is a page-turner, and a fun one at that. The development of the main character kept me smiling, if not laughing all the way through. A very inventive world with a base in reality and a fast-paced story kept me asking myself "what are they going to throw at us next" every time I turned a page. You have action, humor, suspense and lots of steamy, hot sex (though I'd give "Pride and Prostitutes" by the same authors a slight edge on that last one). One of those books you just don't want to put down.

Ok, so I cheated and read this on the author's site first, but LOVE it, so I bought it too. :)
Very well-written, fun, inventive, and hot. The action (of all kinds) is really conveyed well, and the characters are believable and likable.

Awesome book! Five stars for smut and pirate/steampunky/mutant goodness! Seriously, this is a fun book with a well designed world that makes you want to explore it yourself, never mind just follow the characters around. There's gritty details and blisteringly hot sex. Even the villains are hot. Maybe especially the villains are hot. Totally worth the 2.99.
