About E.E. Blake

I've been writing fiction for a good, long while now. With the uprising of self publishing and e-books, it seems the traditional paperback/hardcover publishing that I'm so used to (and prefer) is going out the window -- so it's interesting to get a peek into what this Wattpad site is all about.

I write fiction -- and occasionally the news, when I'm required to. I prefer genre fiction, but am a stickler about maintaining strong, fleshed-out characters, no matter the piece of work. If I were to choose what genre specifically, I enjoy writing high fantasy and some thriller.

I have backgrounds in film, journalism, and photography -- and as a proud "shit disturber", I like to break down the walls of "traditional" fiction writing -- silly rules that us writers are forced to deal with, passed down by our mentors. As such, I like to write as if I were directing a film -- much of which is omnipresent, with subtle descriptive techniques used mostly in a visual setting as film -- in order to flex the reader's brain to use the imagination to the fullest potential.

This is a very interesting read! There were many twists, and a few were left unresolved so that the reader can have a say in the story. The suspense starts on the first page and continues until the last one. I enjoyed reading about the characters and the tension between them is incredibly well written. If you're up for suspense and a bit of mayhem then Killing Sabrina will not disappoint!
